Prop 8 passed looks to pass in Cali, I believe, despite the absentee ballots. There’s immediate efforts to get rid of the problem by an attorney in San. Fran. A bunch of other anti-gay shit passed as well in various states, including the ability to adopt.

It’s an odd set of circumstances, to be incredibly happy about Obama’s victory and incredibly disgusted with these inept blunders over human rights. Various people’s seem incredibly desperate though, since they were shuttling in a hell of a lot of money from churches out of state, and it smells from over here that they’re doomed to failure. Just a bit of a bumpy road to get there. Wash, Lather, Rinse and Repeat, tiny steps forward. But they – are – forward.
Just spent the last , I dunno, quite a few hours online skipping around reading various blogs concerning the election results. It put me in mind of a song, particularly since I finished my perusal today with Astarte’s Circus’s “Out of Touch” post. S’awful long in the comments section however, so feel free to take breaks, vision blurs after a bit.

“Eat the Rich” by Aerosmith, Enjoy!
-Damn, I almost forgot! Belledame222’s hosted the “11th Feminist Carnival of Sexual Freedom and Autonomy”, it’s absolutely brimming with Works to Read. Going to take several days to get through it all, – at minimum -, and quite a lot of those works deal with the multiple prop 8 an friends’ damage (ie, same sex marriage, sex worker rights, reproductive rights). There’s even a UTube video with Sadie Lune’s performance piece on Prop K! So get going.
Go on now, move it.

Isn’t it though. On the upside, they’re horribly desperate and the passing of it leaves things messy, when it goes to court I’m pretty sure it’ll be righted.
